Ok. I've played the trial and am now planning on purchasing the full version.
So, what is the difference between the DVD and CD versions? (Other than the disc)
I noticed circuit city is running a special on the cd-rom version at $24.99 and the dvd version at $39.99

Pretty much the DvD version takes 2 discs to install, I imagine the CD version takes alot more. Also there MAY not be the bonus videos with the cd-version, but Im not really sure.
If it was me Id get the CD version if its only $25, but thats me.
Also ebgames is always selling the dvd version for $35 so you know.

I have the CD version because I couldn't find the DVD version, and the CDs work fine. There are 10--9 install disks and one bonus material (I haven't looked at it yet). The installation didn't take as long as I would thought, which was the biggest reason I wanted DVD.
If you can get any version for $25, do it.

Got the DVD version. Don't think there is a difference really other than how many times you have to change out the disks. If the CD version was cheaper then I feel pretty stupid. Never upgrade when it comes to DVD/CD/Tapes. Always a waste of time. Used to rent movies at Blockbuster on DVD but ALWAYS look for the VHS version now. Better to see the movie in slightly less quality than try to get the DVD version and end up with a scratch or piece of dust on it and not be able to watch it at all. Same with CDs, wish I still had all my tapes, you could run over them with a truck and they'd still almost work but accidentally touch a CD or allow moisture in the air to touch it or breathe on it wrong and you ruin it.
