Is there any item in this game besides drink that helps mana regen if so please let me know also is the food sold by merchants always only average sat?

Merchant food is always average but quest rewards are superior, which is the best. Unfortunately, the superior stuff tends to be shorter duration, (like half an hour).

The four food grades, (in order), are:
low (summoned)
average (store bought)
high (player made)
superior (quest reward)

Robe of the Invoker (Mana Robe)
Manastone

Those items both help with mana regen.

There are also mana potions available.
