Event buff benefits? Do they stackFollow

#1 Feb 21 2005 at 11:04 AM Rating: Decent
Hi, just a quick Q to the TS experts out there. when you cast a trio of buffs during a round, say two of the buffs improve progress, will the effects stack, or does the first one cast count, or lowest etc...... What is the answer please :)

VMT for your comments.

Yes they do stack, and I normaly suggest triggering at least a couple buffs every pulse. I have three crafters above 30 now and one in a 46 and with all of them I trigger 2-3 buffs every pulse as power allows. Always 2, and 3 if my powers above 50%.

You can usualy find a combo that gives you +progress with no durability loss. This is very nice towards the end of a product.

Many thanks for your reply Corison. I had read an article a few weeks back that reported that the stacking of the buffs had been nerfed. Nice to hear they haven't, i had been moderating my buffs as i thought i wasn't benefitting from stackage. I shall do so no longer :)

The buffs do stack and I typically cast 2 buffs each pulse. Sometimes all 3, but usually just 2.

The old system used to allow you to trigger each and EVERY buff once during pulse. So you could use Round Cut, Brilliant Cut, and Sharp cut as well as your other 6 buffs all at once. This would allow you to stack up to 6-7 buffs on a given pulse making it very easy to make pristine every time with no effort.

Under the new and current system you can only use one of a given type of buff per pulse (matching icon). So you can use a max of 3 buffs per pulse. So you could use say Round Cut, Center of Spirit, and Telekensis since they have 3 different icons. But you can not use Round Cut and Square Cut at the same time since they do share the same icon.
