Ahh wtf happened to soloingFollow

Hey is it just me or did sony just make it so much f*cken harder to solo, i was killing blue^^'slast night in stormy and now a green^^ killes me wtf is up with that.

Maybe I'm wrong but did you attune all your armour?

I noticed it too. I attuned all my armor before heading out, but some mobs sure took it to me much more quickly than before.

Yes my level 16 crusader Alt was soloing the level 12 crows in Antonica. After the patch I attuned all the armor, in fact I even had some upgraded iron forged chainmail to upgrade the no-stat crap they had from before. Now when I take on the same lvl 12 green ^^ mobs with my supposedly better tank I lose double the amount of HP I lost before.

Thank you so much SOE for making my tank take damage better.. Oh wait I mean taking it WORSE!!!!!!

also a few things to consider was the blue ^^ a solo mob or a group mob, what kind of mob was it, ie caster or damage class. You cannot asume that all blue ^^ will be the same, some will be more difficult to your class than others will be.

I believe they tweaked how strength bonuses work for damage output as well in the last patch , but it only starts effecting you at 150 str i think .
I know remember reading something about that in last patch notes.

This is a direct quote from the update notes. In addition to the str and agi changes, they changed the mitigation on armor types. I don't know if this answers any questions, but it is important to note.

there is a huge jump from lvl 19 mobs to 20, the mobs get stronger every 10 lvl

Not all mobs are the same, there are some Green ^ ^ I can take easy and there some green solo that own me. I find it easy to solo my SK way to easy harder with a caster class.

So no its not harder there is tons of solo stuff to kill if you decide to take on group encounters then its on you not SoE btw. After all the mob is ^ ^ group marked.

I have noticed that mobs that used to be easy are much harder now, for the first half of the fight. Like giants, I can take them on, but they give me a beat down for the first half of their life, then after that they are easy, maybe even a little easier than they were before the big patch.

I thought I was freaking out, so I took on a few more, and it was true with each giant I attacked.

Weird.

ive upgraded my armor now,and ya i did attune before fighting and in stormy we were killing blue^^'s in a grp not soloing.

Ya they really nerfed mitagation and lowered dmg by lowering attributes...no more soloing those ^^ mobs effectively.

After patch I solo better then before.
Im a fury (light armor) so my mitigation is 35% better.
My g/f is a guardian and she also solo's better after patch.

I've not once, since the patch, nor before, experience any problems soloing. Nor have I experienced any problems grouping.

I can still solo red con solo mobs, and green con ^^ group mobs (dependant on level). Just the same as before.
