Ok, I have the all access pass. I'll log into EQ2 and play and then if I try to get on my EQ1 account it kicks me out of EQ2. I can get back in but the whole time I'm still logged into EQ1 every 15-20 min I'll get kicked out of EQ2. Does anyone else have this problem or know a work around or anything? I've /bugged it 3 or 4 times now and nothing.

Is this on the same machine or you mean 2 different computers?

Karsliche,
This is my take on your problem. Keep in mind that I don’t know how SOE has their network setup.

You have an access pass witch give you the ability to play EQI and EQII with the same account name. If SOE will not let an account have two instances on the network at the same time, that is why you are getting dropped.

The next question, I think you might ask is… “why is it taking 15 to 20 min to drop me?”
The reason why is it takes time for the logon servers to update across the network or replicate.

Example

“Hey logon server1, I have account xxxx running a session, but I see you have the same account also.”
SOE rule one account per session.
“Ok, I’ll drop account xxxx on my side”
Account dropped by server2.

I hope this helps if not please disregard.

I know it won't work on the same machine. I'm talking about 2 machines one running EQ the other running EQ2.

Yeah I figured it was something like that Paradime however the fact remains that I am paying to play both games. If I want to play them both at the same time I should be able to. Heck if I wanted to play all the games I pay to play at the same time I should be able to. I am paying to play them after all. I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem and if they knew a way to fix it. Please don't get me wrong I'm not "arguing" woth you. I'm just venting at Sony's lack of interoperability.

I couldn't agree more with you. If you are paying for a service. You should recieve it. It seems black and white to me.

I never had a problem playing EQ and SWG same time on 2 different machines but that was many months ago and not on Station Access but BOTH tied to same Station name/account and now they are on Station Pass

I am having a problem too with having an EQ1 and EQ2 accounts...my problem is that when i signed up for EQ2 i wanted to have both under the same account...well when it came time to register it it said that i could not do it and now i pay full price for both..WTH
Well i contacted SOE about this and they told me that the could combine them but i would lose my chars on EQ2 that i have already made and have to start all over...what a bunch of crap i thought.
So if anyone has any idea what i can do without losing my chars let me know.

I have been playing the same account on EQ and EQ2 on different machines.

If they have now prevented this then it will be the final straw. As you say if it was one price to play either game but it isn't, it is a small discount off the price of paying for both games.

I am also an All Access subscriber.

Did you all even read what you paid for?

A: No.

I had no disillusions about my ability to play 2 games at once.

You are correct, it is black and white, and it is the service they pay for.

No offense guys but I would love to see what you read that made you think you could do both at once be cause I never got that at all.
