I seem to be unable to pick a crafting professionFollow

I'm a level 3 artisian, and cannot figure out how to become anything else. I was told to speak with people in qeynos harbor. I did that but was told that I'm not high level enough. I was told that I need to do a wholesellars task. I've done 3 of them. I'm not sure why this isn't working. I want to craft, and seem to be stuck.
Your an Artisian until level 9.
I am not sure how early you pick your class, but it will not take effect until you reach level 9 and 100% exp.
You can pick your subclass from Ironforge family in QH, but I suggest holding off on that until level 9. Gives you time to get a feel for all the basic fields.
