What kinda Priest?Follow

#1 Feb 16 2005 at 12:34 AM Rating: Decent
I'm going to be starting EQ2 soon and I'm a bit confused about what priest class to play. I'm afraid I'm coming from a long background of EQ1 playing, and I'm a little biased about all of the different types.

I will be playing with a Wizard, Paladin, and Berserker (all from Qeynos).

Any suggestions as to which priest type would best fill out that group? And which one has the most healing power?

Welcome to the Boards Anaxandrifes.

I would say go with just a cleric, But if you planning on Soloing alittle I would go with a Druid/shammie type toon.

As for healing power I would go with the Cleric and buy all the spell upgrades for the Healing. (adpt 1 or higher)

Druids and Shammies are very nice healers as well, I haven't had any problems with these 2 being main healers.

Just 2cp. Comes down to your style of playing.

I would reccomend the cleric aswell, they can wear heavy armor, and thier reactive spells are awsome at healing tanks with alot of AC.

They can also solo relatively well, especially once they get thier armor upgrade at 20

I'd say go for a Druid, they are a nice class to play (well I guess I am biased since I play a Druid on EQ, lol).

I would have to say go as cleric > templar. I currently am one and love my reactive heals. Currently at level 45. I can stack my single and group reactives on each other and heal for 500+ a hit. Also if i stack my involentary healer with those reactives I have a chance for healing from 1500-2k.

Just my 2cp

Thank you all for your input. I have decided to make a High Elven Cleric (so, I suppose I'll be a Templar ^^).
