is there a way to lose a level?Follow

I Was wondering if there was a way to lose a lvl wife an I were gonna betray, then she decided she did not want to betray but, guess what yep she changed her mind yet again and I am just barly into lvl 18. can anyone help.

As far as I know, even if you die a bunch, right after you level, you can't lose the level, you just take on the xp debt.

This is completely different from EQ and kinda makes my *tradition* of continuing to adventure for an additional 5 or 10% after leveling *just for a little padding* kind of silly and pointless! Oh, well... I guess old habits die hard!!!

Well, Hopefully you have already started the betray quest before Dinging 18. Because as far as I know there is a lvl 17 cap on the Betray quest.

Can you start the betrayal quest and then finish after you're a higher level? or do you have to complete it before you hit 18? I've got a crusader over in FP I'm working up to becoming an SK, but I'd like to move him over to Qeynos since thats where my other guys are.

No. Shadow Knights are an evil class, and if you were to betray to Qeynos you'd have to be a Paladin. Instead of dinging 18, your xp bar will keep going up until 220%. Then when you recieve Qeynos citizenship you'll ding 19 and can start your Paladin quest.
