Dusty Blue Stone HELP!!!Follow

I messed up early in my life and decided not to continue with my goulbane quest... (My bad). Recently I bought a dusty blue stone at the broker to try too restart it. I examined it and it told me too take it to someone who knew stones so I went to the miner and he would not talk to me... Is this quest re-startable and if so HOW??? Please I need help! I do still have the hammer in the bank and would gladly destroy it for a another chance. Thanks in advance!

I did the same thing once you get the hammer that's it you are done, end of story. I feel your pain buddy I did the same thing when I thought the quest was " too much" and am kicking myself in the **** now.
