ok, I am a 27 Templar, Not adventured out too much.... (still having a lot of fun!)
I am trying a few quests that direct me to the Commonlands. How do I get there from Antonica?

You can use the Bell in Thundering Steeps to get to Nek Forest.. From there you can run to the Commonlands.
Be warned, the run is often fatal unless you know what your doing or have some help.

Follow the road from Antonica, in Thundering Steppes, South.
Take the left path when it forks near the undead, and continue South, South-East. This path will take you through a mountain pass and down onto a beach. There you will find a dock. About half way down the dock is a bell that, when moused over, will display "Nektulos Forest". Activate that bell to travel to Nektulos.
Once in Nektulos Forest, go straight east off of the docks. You may see some spiders near a large rock hill. Circle around that hill to either the north or south and resume your easterly route into a path between stone hills.
Once through that path, follow the continuing path through the forest, past the Owlbears, past the Firelights. The simplest way to do this (there are shorter ways off of the main path, but we will stick to the main path) is to keep going on this path as it winds through the forest. Eventually you will come to a bridge crossing a rapidly moving, large river. This is the Torrent River.
Cross the bridge and take the path South. Continue on this path and it will eventually lead to a small gathering of NPCs and a bridge leading to gates. These gates take you to the Commonlands.

At 27 the run should be cake, I have been doing it since lvl 16, with only 1 outta 10 runs resulting in death, here is how you do it.
Thundering steppes docks to nek forest
Across from docks in nek forest is a valley, run through it,
Hit the road and watch for mobs.
Stay on that road until you come to a bridge
Right past the bridge is a road to your right
that road leads to Commonlands
Tips.
DONT STOP RUNNING
Constantly watch for mobs and try to avoid them as much as possible by moving to the other side
Save sprint for owl bears and shrillers, they are kinda fast
enjoy your time in the commonlands.
if you need more details than that let me know, also I am sure other people have tips for you as well that might help, thats how i do it.
P.S. some people will tell you to take a crosscountry route that leads over the beaver island where the behemoth is at, but if the named beaver is up you are pretty much dead, he is agro and hurts at lvl 22.
