Is Bard a playable class?Follow

Hey I have checked the classes on the official site and could not find the Bard class, does it exist in this game as either Bard or another name? thanks for the answers.

Yep, my brother selected to be Bard and at level 20 became a Troubadour. He is now Level 38 and is often headhunted for groups and has a couple of guilds courting him in the hope he signs up...thus proving that played well the Troubadour class rocks!
I'm not sure if the class is similar to the EQ1 bard, but my brother who played EQ1 for a couple of years has yet to complain.

I have not seen many in game, but I played with one yesterday and it was great! The buffs really made a huge difference. Its a very underplayed class but an excellent one to have in a group.

Dirges don't get rez. Unless you summon them a feather or something. Maybe you mean mez, which us troubadors have a very limited ability to do. We get a charm spell that has a refresh time of one minute. Ordering the pet to do anything will break it. At level 50 we get a proper mez, which I have yet to try out.
