imo we SK's are at best backup tanks most of our abilities will even suggest such as our only personall AC boostin moves are toughness which adds like 10 AC at app4, lucan's pact which gives you a bugged *** skeleton form which will in any zone you are able to ride a horse spam you constently and like 4 AC at app1 this number does go up when u upgrade tho but only slightly, and i belive knights stance never used it myself tho. it uses up 3 concentration points and person i would rather toss my vigor of trust around to other melee's an the healer just for the extra like 30-40 hps it gives. however SK's get a whole host of AC buffin moves you can only use on other people tho. generally i myself go in for backup tank to hold any pop's or additional aggro that might happen till the rest of the pt is finished with the main mob.
as for berserkers being tanks.... lol hell half the time cuz of their proc they jus steal hate anyway so usually jus make em the mt anyhow. i know i have tried retakin hate back from a zerker and it usually doesnt happen even when using HT.

yes i like fd when used properly, probably worst part about it is the long *** recast timer on it. too many SK abilities have overly long recast timers on them. of course the bad part bout fd which always get one to hesitate is cuz it does knock off all buffs an some people jus plain ***** that you didnt need to fd em

I love playing a ShadowKnight. So far I have not had any problems taking and holding agro in groups. Occasionally it gets hairy trying to hold agro from 2 groups of encounters, but it can be done with a little effort.

As far as FD is concerned, I think the recast timer is fine. I would think a lower recast timer would be sweet, but I make due with what I have. It really is an emergency ability at best.

For example, I was in a group of guildies, and someone wasn't paying attention or was afk while we were running. He accidentally got aggro from some ancient rumbleroots and I was up ahead of everyone. By the time I made it back he was almost dead and I couldnt get agro off of him. FD saved his *** no doubt. I immediately gained agro and tank the group of mobs without a problem.

And, yes, Soloing is fun and rewarding for a Shadowknight that knows what he/she is doing.

My main is SK 32L and I tank if I am the highest level in the group, if there is another tank type who is higer level then they tank. I then can boost there AC and give them a life tap damage shield thus making them even better.

If I am in a group and the other tank is same level we look at AC and HP who ever is the highest tanks.
