30 minute lamp (whisp)Follow

For anyone thinking about getting the whisp from the erudite traditions you should know it is a PoS!

This whisp does not follow you around, I thought it would be like a spiffy light source. But the whisp only sits there doing nothing.

The whisp also resets your pet timer, meaning you cannot have a new pet for 30 minutes if you pull out a whisp.

This is the worst spell I have. I wish I could change what I went into, I hate my 30 minute lamp.

I suggest just getting something basic like the int or the tradeskills, itll allways be there and cant have any negitive effects.

Now if they change the whisp so it doesnt run off pet timer It would be fun at times and possibly even useful to light up a dark area or mark a path for your group.

Note: I am not a pet class so that part does not effect me...

I also took the wisp. He does not follow when you zone. Everytime you zone click the follow button. Yes I think that is a bug but it hasnt bothered me enough to fill out a /bug yet.

I have not been anywhere his light made any difference yet, but he can be targeted by illusion spells =D

I have also left it at the zone in and had a friend tell me when he found it at zone in. I then told it to folllow and had him run off after it. Was not exactly efficent but was funny.

I still like it better than most my other options. The thrade skills Erudites get didnt help since I am a tailor.

The INT/mana regen buff is 3 min buff that is only out of combat and has a 20 min recast on it.

Lastly keep in mind that, pet Moogaurd on Dev Track, they are planing on doing a reset of trianing/race/etc abilities again so you will be able to repick someday in the future so you are not stuck with it permently.
