social macros as in EQLiveFollow

#1 Feb 02 2005 at 7:50 AM Rating: Decent
I started EQ2 only some days ago and so far i like it MUCH better than EQLive (cancelled suscription allready) but I have problems with the social macros.

1. I dont seem to be able to include /pause like in EQL so combining animation-text-animation or text-animation-text either doesnt work at all or not as intended.

2. Is there realy NO way to include spells in a macro????

3. icons for social macros. I play on Lucan D'Lere and tried to create a set of quick responds for group invitation/offering, asking for help, trading etc. but instead of labelling macros "NOTIME", "JOINgladly", "JOINlater", "mustLEAVE" I have to get along with icons that dont show enough diversity to have 2 or 3 sets just for communication. It takes too much time hovering over them and i cant label EVERY key on my own keyboard either *lol*. Even the standard emote icons show not enough distinction imo so is there any way to "replace" the icons with text?

Any help about what I missed or whats officially planned in that direction are appreciated :)

2. To enter a spell into a macro the command is /useability. For example, I have a heal called Healing Ritual. I set this spell onto a macro and it looks like this.

Name: Healing 1

Line 1: /g Healing %t
Line 2: /useability healing ritual

There is no pause so as soon as the message to my group is stated I begin casting. I haven't figured out how to put pauses into the macro's yet. If I had line 3 would be something like,

Line 3: Feel Better?

Also, sorry I can't answer the rest of your questions since I don't even change the icon for my macro's. I just have my hotbar's arranged so I know exactly what is in each slot.
