Someone was telling me that during the last part of the quest , everyone in your group has to have *not* completed FG access, in order to complete the quest .
I read the quest description on this site and it doesnt say anything about that. Is this true? Cause if so its gonna be aweful hard to find a full group of people who havent done the quest b4 . Im hopeing the person who told me this is misinformed . Thx in advance for info

I have completed the FG access quest 5 times between 2 characters so to the best of my knowledge this is untrue. However, the last time I attempted it was probably about a month ago so they may have changed it since then.

tried to solo it with my predator and *ALMOST* did it.. managed to beat 2 of the 3 main bosses and put the third into the deep red, everything else was gray to me so those were not a problem.. however it's just not happening at 18th level for my predator.. 20th perhaps.. I suspect I could do it solo with an 18th level cleric though.. if I had one.. lol.

what few times I've been in an FG access quest group it was very disorganized so I just went about doing my own thing and figured in due time I could solo it without issue.. that time is coming soon.

however, I'm pretty sure the requirement to enter the last part of the FG access quest is to have done the pre-requisites up to that point OR have completed the quest.

ok so i dug a little more and it seems that the key is to not touch any of the desks that spawn the last guy and kill all three skeletons first , then run back up and examine the desk which spawns the last boss, then try and run back downstairs and hit him with something that interrupts (petrify is what ill prolly use ) to interrupt him summoning his pet . then proceed with opening the can of whoopass on him . That sound about right to yall ? Reason im trying to map this out is cause im gonna do this solo probably so i am trying to be prepared.
Thx

Geocide, are you talking about the FG access or the Necromancer class quest? For the FG access the last part is in an instanced zone with tons of ghost mobs in it that are roughly lvl 14 I believe. Then there are the boss mobs that are located either upstairs or downstairs and require no spawning technique. Just march on up there and kill them. Once your done head back to the entrance, talk to the npc, pick a helmet, and your done.

For the necromancer class quest last fight it is also in an instanced zone. However, this is a solo encounter in which you can not bring friends with you. This is the one where examining a desk spawns the boss mob you must fight. If this is the quest you are doing then yes, absolutely clear the entire tower before touching the desk. Once the tower is cleared tell your pet to stay on the bottom floor while you run up and touch the desk. Then run back down, tell your pet to attack and immediately stun him. That should guarantee an easy, quick battle.

Np atall. If you let me know which quest you are doing I can give you a full rundown of it. I have a 23 necro who has done both quests and a 30 defiler that has done the FG access quest.

I'm pretty sure all of the mobs in the FG access quest are grey to a lvl 18 if I am remembering correctly. Maybe the boss mob isn't but the surrounding ghosts should be. As for the necro class quest, the skelletons (or zhombies, not sure which) should gradually get harder as you go down through the tower with the hardest becoming I believe a yellow con with no arrows. The boss mob is a lvl 18 summoner with the adept lvl pet (spider).

At level 19 my Predator soloed this quest.

At 18 my Warrior duo'd this with a Shaman, we immediatly switched and completed it for him.

I think you could get by with 3-4 peeps at level 17, and a full group at 16.

People who have already completed the quest can still help you.
