Quest to change subclass ???Follow

I have my toon up to lvl 15 as an Enchanter. I am finding out that it is nothing like being an enchanter on EQ1. I was wondering if there was a quest to change my subclass to Conjuror or Summoner?

Or do I need to start all over?

I haven't played an enchanter in EQ2 but I know quite a few of them. As you get a few more levels it becomes more like they were in eq1. Specializing in crowd control while casting breeze and haste on the group. I believe enchanter types (at least evil ones) can do a bit more damage then they did in eq1 as well.

But yes, if you wanna change your subclass you have to start over.

I have a character who is 22 Enchanter and I do have to say it was tough getting there. The class is isn't a strong solo fighter and good groups can be really hard to find. If you aren't there yet, you may have an easier time of it now as there are more "soloable" kills in Ant. Level up your damaging Apprentice skills first even if it means just to Apprentice II. I decided that the character had to be a scholar fairly early on just to keep the spells coming.

If you prefer to fight solo ... start over as soon as you can before you spend too much time building up the character.
