Any Good Duo-Combo in EQ2?Follow

#1 Jan 30 2005 at 12:38 PM Rating: Decent
Hello everyone!

My brother and I have just started playing EverQuest II, trying out various classes and races. I personally like Ogres the most, preferbly with a huge great axe. :P

What I was going to ask was: Is it possible to duo in EQ2, or is a full party the only option?

In case it is possible, what is a good combo for two people? Cleric and a Warrior, or something among those lines?

Would be grateful for replies!

I have experienced a four man group as the best exp at higher levels. 1x fighter, scout, mage and priest.

my brother and I try to do the same. He is a Shadowknight and I am a defiler. It works real well my wards and debuffs make it so he doesn't take much dmg at all, just make sure you get atleast adept lvl in your most used heal, ward and debuff it makes a huge diff.He is a ogre but hes got a huge swordnot an axe tho. lol unfortunatly he plays more than me so he is starting to out distance me. and with the new exp to duos and solos make it even better for us.

Hmm...yes. Maybe a Berserker and a...Defiler? Can a Defiler concentrate on big weapons and strength?

I mean, I won't play an ogre with a stick...I just won't. :)

I have a lvl 30 defiler and they can use a spear/shield combo. However they are much more capable just standing back and casting the debuffs, wards, heals, and a DoT or two. A berzerker/defiler is a great combo. I would also recommend a monk type since they put out more damage and the mob will die faster. Really any fighter class with a defiler will do wonders.

Yeah i was reading that a monk/brawler with a shaman are excellent duo becuase when shm wards the monk/brawler it last longer because they dodge alot (well more than others atleast)
of the mob hits which make your wards last longer thus decreasing the amount of power you use. I haven't actually done this myself just have seen it in several posts, sooo. if its wrong sorry, but it does kinda make sense.
