Knockdown & backstabFollow

#1 Jan 30 2005 at 4:40 AM Rating: Decent
Hell again all,

Does anyone know if you do a skill ability that knocks your opponet down if any attack is rendered will count as an attack from behind? I would this would be logical since a rogue class would only interfere with another scout's backstab. This would definately help out for some soloing tactics. Please let me know, thanks.

Knockdown is not a state that enemies are put into. In other words, the only current benefit from knockdown attacks is the graphical effect seen mostly on humanoid NPCs. Nobody knows if this is because knockdown is only supposed to do this (after all, they are knocked down right?) or because this is a bug that has yet to be fixed. This means that knockdown will have no effect on anyone's attacks, scout or otherwise. You can test this yourself by using a knockdown attack when you are solo, and moving around. Whatever you attacked, even if it displays the knockdown animation, will turn and, I believe, slide on its butt to follow you.
