I was wondering what subclass's of the scholar create the skills/spells for the other class's.
To my understanding it is:
Jewelers make jewelry, talismans, and scout runes (skills).
Sage make caster and priest spells.
Alchemist make poisons, potions, and fighter essences (skills).
Is this true?

That's correct. Alchemists also make the ink that Sages need to make their spells. I believe Jewelers need resins or washes from Alchemists to make the runes.

The jeweller will also need spikes from a weaponsmith and temper from an alchemist.

They have us tied up pretty well.

Alchemists get off easiest since Essences don't use anything they can't make as far as I can see.

All three use the ink (Alchemy)

and Sages also need paper and quill from Woodworkers

For lower levels (10-19) the ingredient split at level 10 can be got around by scribing other crafts lvl 10 recipes - Sure you need to bribe someone to go into their craft specific tradeskill to buy the scroll for you, but it is worth it. Only the primary ingredient needs to be pristine for making pristine stuff, so it doesn't matter that you don't have the extra durability buffs for making the intermediate stuff to pristine.

Unfortunately there are some greedy idiots buy the level 10 scrolls ( for 4 and a bit silver if i remember right ), and try to flog them for 15s +, which is a bit rich for 1 minutes work.

- I try to have a couple for sale at about 5s to undercut these profiteers when doing a sell session.
