In your suburb you will find a wooden hatch set in the ground. In Temple Street for example it is Circle of Vaniki. These are your "Wholesaler Societies". There is one in each suburb. Full list here

In there you can do any tradeskill including cooking. They sell most of the things you need apart from raw materials which you can get by harvesting (They do sell some cooking stuff of inferior quality)
