Basically the only people who will miss out in my mind are extremely casual players. I mean some people who can only play on the weekends

You're right. This does leave "binge players" out. A steady casual player will be ok. A hardcore player will be ok but the "16 hours on a weekend" guy will not do so well.

Oh well can't please everyone.

Finally! Anyone ever even seen this mob? Lol, cleared out Earth Rumblers for hours, killed Old One Eye several time hoping he'ld drop an item that helps in the gnoll caves, ...

Never even heard of someone who has seen it.

Still, the rest sounds just lovely too!

At the moment, I am such a person.

Now I'll just go off to the corner and cry... :(

Seriously though, I don't mind. It's the journey that counts, non?

I hope the Big Patch Part Deux will be released next week. So far, many good changes are coming about... I may actually try to weasel some friends into getting EQ2, again... muahahahaha

muahahahaha!

I have to disagree with the binge player missing out, it is a great thing for them. Their vitality bar will never be full, they will never waste any bonus and use all the bonus they get to the fullest, while a casual player will find some of it slipping away. It helps balance casual vs. hardcore while still giving hardcore a pretty nice edge. And why would somone leave a grp lol, it takes maybe, 30 mins to get a grp with a melle or dps class, you kill for 30 mins, bang chunk of vitality. Kill for another 30 mins, vitality dry, but wait, kill for another 30 mins, bang more vitiality, more exp, no chance of having it wasted :). IMO this will not lead to widespread ppl leaving grps, but hey i know there are some morons that will do it, and they will have a ncie life in /ignore.

Will you get one vitality for both adventuring and tradeskilling, or will it be two seperate kinds of vitality, cause if it is the last this system will encourage doing both tradeskilling and adventuring, cause then one can recover while the other is being used.

There will be a vitality for both, crafting and adventuring. They will be seperate.
