I just got to level 10 and became a warrior. I recieved my tunic and was wondering if anyone knew of any quests that I could do to upgrade more of my armor or weapons. Most of my equipment is from the isle of refuge. Any advice would be greatly appricated. I am in Qeynos, by the way. (its late and brain is running slow. heh.)

Welcome Sanlagar,

At level 10 you should be able to hunt in Forest of ruin. I would hunt the Spiders, sometimes you get a leg armour drop.
Bumshire(sp) the second zone off the Forest of Ruin has some quests that you can do for armour and weapons.
Then what you would want to do head of to castle view and start doing the newbie quests. you'll get a shield and some other armour parts. Which once you are able to go to Antonica you will be getting upgrades from drops, or making coin to buy better stuff.

Hope this helps !!

I would go from suburb to suburb and talk to every NPC you can, accept all the quests you can and work on finishing those. You will get levels fast and some equipment upgrades you can either use, or sell.

Eventually when you hit level 20, you might want to start looking into player made armor, if you don't feel like doing the Armor Quests provided at 20, or of course, you can do the armor quests.

I personally preferred to just buy armor I can use from other players and then resell it to players once I outgrow it. Work on the armor quests but sell hte pieces to make extra cash. of course, it's all up to you what ya do.

This is what I am doing as well. Unless the quested armour is better then what I can afford. And it usually is. What I am wearing now is all Vendor bought except for 2 or 3 pieces that are from quests.

I'd recommend checking the broker before buying vendor-crafted items, since comparable player-crafted items have stat boosts and such.

The Baubbleshire armor shop has quests for nice stuff. Starcrest armor shop has a quest for good starter weapons. The Clothspinners in North Qeynos gives good armor too. There's a few others, but I can't recall them at the moment.

And my personal favorite, I don't know why... is the Balance of Life quest (doable at 14~15, recommended 15. Quest reward usable at 16 I believe). Another quest Oh Deer Me (Castleview) has good weapon rewards. I can't remember what the quest in the Castleview armor shop gives, but that's another you could do.

Just click on the Quests by zone to your left there, then go through all the villages and see which quests give armour rewards. There's a good helmet in Baubleshire, and a great bow in EG.
