I have noticed that enchanted bone fragments sell very high and I assume, therefore, they are rare. I am one enchanted dark elf bone fragment from completing that collection. Does anyone know where they can be found, if there is a particular place?

No all the collection items are random items, any one has the same chance of being anything else. The only place I have noticed is not is the WC there u seem to get orc bones 99.9% of the time :P
I do know that some can only be gotten in certain zones or even spots in zones. The leaf collection is one, if you got to druid rings in commonlands there is one spawn there that gives a leaf more then anything else. So all you have to do is find out where the spawn is and go get your own, thats what I have done. And befoer some says it no I have not collected all 300+ collections in the game but have done 150+ of them.
The reason I know this is true is that the bones your are looking for are in commonlands also. I myself need 2 Glowing shards hehehe and they go for high price on our server well untill I find where they spawn and flood the market with em :)
I too am in search of the Enchanted Dark Elf bone fragment. I think it can be found in and tier 2+ zone. The higher the zone the more likely the chance to find it.
I find non-stop shiny and pristine shards, and the same rarity bone fragments in EL, which is a tier 4 zone. I would assume scouring Rivervale would net me a few of the higher collection pieces.

Yeah, just my experience that the higher the level of the zone, the more chance you have at getting the higher quality items for collection quests such as bones and shards.
I have yet to get a single shard or bone fragment in EL under pristine for shards or bone equivilent.
