I am frequently typing out a long message to someone from them to not see it or miss it. Then I have to re-type it is there a way for me to press some buttons to make what I just said pop up again in EQ2?

Enter and then use up-arrow to recall past text.

Just don't try doing it when running or moving when you might need to steer

I rebind my keys, so I dont use my up arrow either. I don't even use the eq2 default keybindings for hte most part. I had switched mine to be similar to my old eq1 bindings.

Can anyone tell me how to rebind my keys to do this or know anyone with the EQ2 Keyset. I hate retyping everything and I can't press SHIFT + the Up arrow because I have no up arrow.

Don't hold shift down while cycling through the up/down buffer. Holding shift will effectively do a page up/down on commands, skipping multiple lines at a time.

even if you remapped your keys... you have an up arrow. now it's W. But it probably interferes now. Your only option is to map it back to arrow lol.

This wont help you if you have no arrow keys...

Hit enter then press your LEFT arrow key THEN use your up and down arrows to scroll. Still nbot very intuitive system, I liked EQ1's MUCH better.

as far as I can tell, eq2 system works better than eq1 did. You don't hold down shift. And you can highlight and replace text.

I'm not sure why you said to hit left THEN up/down to scroll. I just hit enter and up/down. If I want to skip large portions of entries I hold down shift to skip 6 or 7 at a time.

This is the keyboard I have as you can see it has no arrow key at all. So, I was wondering how can I scroll through the history of my text with no arrow key? I have tried SHIFT+W and SHIFT+ the Page up keys and neither of them work. Any suggestions?
