A friend of mine just got a duck from the broker....How are players getting theses animals I'd like to have a dog to keep my dragon company lol?

There is a pet shop in S Qeynos that sells all sorts of pets. I do not know about Freeport though. That is the only place I have encountered to get one. I believe, however, that you can have only one pet. Can anyone confirm or deny that?

I've seen a screenshot of a guy with two pets (a bat and a dog, the actual names elude me), so I guess it's possible to have more than one. I wonder if house size plays into that. There is a pet shop in Freeport too, but I can't remember where. :(

I've seen 3 pets in an apartment if I remember correctly. And, a word to the wise. Anything that is under the "House item" category is normally overpriced. I'm not talkin' just a little overpriced. I mean paying 16 silver for a painting and selling for 1 gold. Or going to stonestair bryway and buying the "erudin globe" for 16 silver, selling for 70. Be careful what ya buy, if it doesn't say "Made by soandso" then it is bought from a merchant. Don't pay the extreme prices.
I have a cat and a dog... you can have as many pets as you can have room items. I was in one room where there were six baby dragons and around a dozen Halasian Maulers and many other pets. Expensive pets, especially dragons, drop the status point cost of certain rooms substantially.
lol sounds like a real zoo there. =D

I have a stray cat and a duck. I just got a 2 bedroom apartment in WFP. I'm not sure if it's true for everyone but alot of times my cat will disappear because it ends up walking through the walls. It's a minor bug that's no big deal but it still exists. I just make the cat go to sleep all the time now when I'm there. =)
A g-g-g-gh-os-os-os-t ghost, kitty!? AHHHHHHHHHH, hmm..you could do /bug I think and it reports the location where the bug is taking place or summon a GM? I read about that somewhere. Or not...I personally wouldnt wanna go home and see my cat stuck half in my house and half out, someone could try to steal little fluffy... (a coo chee coo) [tickles kitty].

Went and found this guy last night cause I really wanted to get a dog. What a pitiful selection of animals! A ton of cats, a few reptiles and insects, a duck and what I think was a dog, (but was called a Halasian Mauler).
The dog was unbelievably high priced, (17g if I remember correctly), so I guess I'll get a duck!
