Why in gods name does coercer have to wait for charmFollow

#1 Jan 21 2005 at 4:00 AM Rating: Decent
Hi to all who reads this, i am so **** off about my enchanter/coercer does not get a charm untill level 31. Why in gods name would you do that, that was the main reason I got EQ1 on my ps2. Know don't get me wrong the the mez and roots spells are pretty cool but there is nothing like taking a mob and beating thing hell out of other mobs. So I hope someone that can make changes to the game reads this and does something about it or im going to have to move back to final fantasy online. (Shh pls work on it i don't to move back there plp are mean to me) Thank you.

Bad news, I'm not even sure the lvl 31 charm even works all that well. Yeah, this spell system is not sexy and fun. It's boring to tell you the truth, at least imo.

I agree with you all. The spell system is very boring and weak compared to EQ1's. I don't play a Wizard I play as a lvl 33 Necro and I am just as dissapointed that we Necros are missing many of our class defining spells. Spells such as, "Drain Life", "Feign Death", "Darkness", and "Fear". All us Necros seem to be is a boring Mage only we get an undead pet. Boo to you SOE!

I am greatly considering quiting EQ2 and just cross over to the cartoonish looking, Worlds of Warcraft. Sure it is a little more cartoonish looking but if you read about the class/races on their sight it seems like a hell of a lot more fun as far as abilities and spells go.

I sure wish EQ2 would have kept EQ1's racial bonuses and negatives aswell as class spells. EQ1 owned in it's time but now unfortunately it is getting old since I have seen all I can.
