Hey does anyone got screenshots of it equiped on any races or anything? i just got eq2 but my computer isnt done yet(im at skool) and was wondering if anyone had screen shots of vangaurd plate on different races. i was gonna make a barbarian pal but if they look stupid i might make dwarf or human. thx in advance

Here is a screenshot of my Iksar wearing pristine forge carbonite vanguard armor. He doesnt have the helm showing, but picture a full helm and visor and you got it.

I'm not big into tradeskills, I either have a guildy make my armor or I purchase it or quest for it. It doesnt matter to me as long as I keep my AC and HP up.

I had full caronite vangaurd and replaced it with the hearth forged aq armor now I look like big dwarven ****. Its brown and doesn't even look like plate at all.

Oh and if you need to know how to get rid of the crappy helm look type /showhood in game. I put that tattoo on my face and neck for a reason.

the helm makes me think iksar, but I could be wrong, I don't really see too many showing their helm graphic. I use it, but that also depends on what kind of helm I am using.

Really nice, Kensi. It's amazing what a decent vid card with all specular lighting turned on will do for armor. Personally, I don't know how we played games all these years without specular lighting effects :)

I like the vanguard armor but I dont like the helmet is there any way I can disable the helmet showing or something? I think I've seen people do that.

Yes you can disable the helm by re-reading this thread. It told you how to a few posts up.
