Scripting HotkeysFollow

#1 Jan 20 2005 at 11:56 AM Rating: Decent
Does anyone know if there is a good scripting site for EQ2 or
can spread some more light on the different commands we are able
to use when scripting ?

Any basic examples would be helpful.

Ded, I am just thinking about setting some scripts up for doing HO's when I am soloing as a start.

I wanted to know if there are pause commands, what syntext I need to know for a specail attack, wording convention, etc.

I wish there were pauses :o(

My main is a ranger and these are some of the macros I made

Solo HO:

: ; useability lucky break

: ; useability dirty tricks

: ; useability pierce

You can do that for any combination that your HO trigger will allow. I only have the one solo HO combo macro and just click them manually for other combinations.

I also have 3 group macros for combining stealth skills and sneak attacks. I use them after assisting and engaging combat. It allows me to use the combo stealth/sneak attacks as quickly as possible. They look like this:

: ; toggleautoattack

: ; useability [insert name of stealth ability here]

: ; useability [insert name of stealth-based attack here]

Because there are no pauses, I have a HO coming key:

/gsay Hitting my HO in 5 seconds...get ready.

Five seconds later (give or take) I hit my HO.

I have an assist hotkey that's just /assist [name of MT here]

I also have one for tracking because I want to let people know I am tracking and to give me a second:

/gsay Tracking....one moment please

: ; useability Tracking

Finally I have an incomming message for when I am the puller:

/gsay Attacking %t! Time for %o to die.

This hotkey will return the message, for example,

Attacking Lord Dyana! Time for him to die.

Those are all the ones I can think of off hand. You can tailor most of these for your warrior abilities. Hope that helps.

That is great. That is almost exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks for that. I will have to hunt around some more to see how far I can take the scripting. Don't worry not bot here, just trying to make life a little easier Hehe

*cheers*
