Just to let everyone know, the Racial Traits guide that this site posts is inaccurate. For example, I just chose Resilience for my Troll, and I got +5 STAMINA, not +3 which is what the guide says. I knew this ahead of time because I have the Prima Guide, but for those who don't have it beware that the Alla guide might not be accurate.
And in your infinite wisdom, you sent in a correction e-mail when and to whom?
NO one is claiming infinite wisdom smartass, just trying to give others a heads up. Actually I would have posted it but the site if screwed up there and won't let you.
Calling the Forum Admin a smartass is not a good idea, hell, fire and brimstone have nothing on Darkflame.
I strongly surgest you appologise and not because of who she is, because you where both rude to a lady and someone who helps us more than you can possibly imagine.

Alright, alright calm down people.
Firstly by just glancing at this topic, heightz (sp) the way you said your statement came off a bit rude, as if your making a smartazz remark at Alla, as if this site is meant to be 100% accurate.
Secondly, the Admin who came in, I think she felt the same way, but her tone was rather rude as well. He was just trying to alert us about the error, and the admin kinda came at him with ...who did you mail the email to and when?? ..not a normal response (dunno if there is prior heat between you two).
I don't know if she took it as her job looks 'lowered' because of this error and took it as a stab at that, but whatever the case, heightz thank you for your post.

YEah I do realize that it probably looked a little critical of me, but that truely wasn't my intent. As for tarv, I have no idea why he bothered to respond. Calling someone a "smartass" isn't exactly cursing them to hell. She was in fact being the definition of a smartass.
No big deal, prob just tensions with the everyday work life, sometimes the fingers just have a mind of their own =D.
Tarv just seems to have a high level of respect for the Admin here. I'm sure if I've been around as long at Tarv has I would too. I like it here, I just don't know too many people yet.

I have an extremely high level of respect for Darkflame due to the numerous time when she has taken the time to help me directly, with no payback expected.
I take a dim view of any people coming on to any website or even any place of work and being rude to the employees.

Btw - and not meaning to offend - but feeling good about relying on the Prima guide ... heheheh - it's not like they're known for accuracy. Announcing your faith in that company... well, just fyi, it doesn't resonate the way you might want it to w/ a lot of us.
Personally I will never, ever buy anything Prima again - ever. They are on my permanently banned list. Their EQ kunark guide was SO BAD it was laughable. Half of it was winged - I mean they were trying to sound like authorities - but came off sounding like idiots - it was clear none of the team of writers had played the game - or if they had they sure didn't know jack about it (wisdom gets mana for sk's they said, and that was just starters).
Do what you want - but I wouldn't waste my money on the Prima book. For one thing the game will probably change so much so fast it won't be worth much - and that's assuming it's worth anything to start w/. And you can get anything in that book for free on the net - imo the only advantage the book has is that you can read it while sitting on the toilet (and heck, w/ a wireless net connection and a laptop, the book can't even claim that!).
Now, you might be saying "dang, EvilGnomes, you must really have it out for Prima!" And yeah, I do. They have built up such negative kharma in the mmo/gaming world ... yeah, "they can do no right" any more, as far as I'm concerned. Maybe if they change their name and apologize for their past crud... maybe - but they won't.
