I rebelled against paying the rent on all those apartments so now my six alts all share one cosy little nest. Gotta say I never knew how the other half lived till I saw the mess those gnomes and iksar can create in a week. I swear it smells like Crantik is a permanent houseguest.....and we erudite would never be caught dead sleeping on those handmedown floor mattresses!

There is another problem.....is there any way you can change the location that Call of the Overlord returns you to? It would be so much more convenient and sensible if they could all point to our new address.

I agree, and I have no clue how do to that. But I bet a guy in my guild does. If you have no answer by the time I return from work, I will call him up and ask him.

Rumor has it that yuo can click on the board where you get your citizen quest to reset you base zone IF you own a house in that zone.

As yet i cannot confirm it.

you may have to relinquish your old room and buy a new one in the same zone where you are currently shacked up. I assume the gate spell takes you to the room you actually own, not the one you're holed up at.

after buying the new room, which is free anyway, just stop paying the upkeep and continue on as you are currently doing.

(nope, haven't tested it, just a theory)

Nope, I have a DE who owns a place in Castleview, but gate takes her to Graystone Yard.

As far as I know, there is no way to change where COO sends you. These will only send you to the zone that is defines by your race. I really, really, wish that I couls change it, cuz my bf and I are sharing a room in Temple St., and I am a Dark Elf, so I always warp to Longshadow >< Not sure about Oddysey, though, although that requires a Cleric and an Ody stone, which are around 1sp each ><

One Tip.

Have the one with the shortest simplest name own the room.

All the rest will have to visit that person to get in and that means typing in enough to reduce the list to a few names.
