Lesser Elemental ImpairmentsFollow

What are they? I'm trying to decide which lvl 10 special ability I should put on my druid, and one of the heals cures lesser elemental impairments as a bonus. But since I don't know what that means, I'm having a hard time deciding. :)

I know how you feel. My druid went with the improvement to Smite just because he casts it all the time when he solos.

Elem impairments or whatever they are called are like when the enemy casts an elemental based DoT on you or a friend. Like the wizard's DoT Freezing Whorl (or called something like that). If you get rid of it really fast, I think it's more mana efficient than healing the damage later. Some elemental attacks might have debuffs attached to them, like slowing movement or attack speed - so getting rid of them is a good idea. There are casters all over the place, and elemental attacks are reasonably common - gnoll casters use them, the "blobs" in StormHaven cast them - etc. GL

For soloing purposes, I really have enjoyed my Smiting Spark (that's the one I chose at lvl 10)... however, in group at this lvl (21) I'm finding that the Elemental might have been a good idea. More and more I'm seeing mobs cast elemental impairments on my MTs and melee'ers and I haven't been able to get rid of these very easily with the stock spells I have.
I notice that these elemental impairments definitely do impair the abilities and effectiveness of the MT/ melee'ers. (doh, surprise surprise)

That being said, is there a way to purchase the upgrade to Fury's elemental spells since I didn't choose it at lvl 10 or am I stuck with limited ability in fixing this problem during combat?

You could always /respec

SOE has offered us all a one time only "get out of jail free" card. The way it works is, you type /respec and you will get to re-choose all the "green plus" choices you have made for that character.

If you do this, try to do it while you're still at home since you will have to go through all of the choices you have already made again and it might take some time!

I think there was one at 10, one at 15, one at 20 and at least 2 or 3 more in there somewhere!
