Hi all, Im just wondering does any class get a steal ability? Ive always loved playing a thief type class and wish to continue.

Who would you steal from?
Players is a non-starter in a non PvP game and NPC would give a class with the ability an unfair earning advantage.
Most people seem to settle for becoming Rogue types and poncing about saying "I am a therf" (you have to excuse bad spelling in 12-year olds)

I think that CrimsonKing is from FFXI. There was a class called theif that allowed a player to steal something from an NPC every couple minutes. To answer your question though...No there is nothing like that in EQ2.
This ability was also in the orignal EQ, Pick Pocket would let you try to swipe something from an NPC.. Defently helped bring in the funds, but loot is much rarer from NPC's now. There is no ability like this in EQ2.
Sorry. Of course there was (Epic Rogue blushes). Somehow I never connected Pickpocket and "Steal" 
I was thinking more of some discussions on the WOL boards (RIP) where apparently a lot of people thought it would be "cool" to be able to go into other players houses or bank and steal things.
