Shared bankaccountFollow

#1 Jan 15 2005 at 10:10 AM Rating: Decent
I have two alts on the Unrest server, one is a 24 jeweler and the is a provisoner. I use them both just as oft, so both have lots of things to sell. But here is my problem, when I put the items which I have made with my provisoner in the shared bank account and sell them with my jeweler I have no way of giving my provisoner his share of the profit.

Does anyone know if there is a way to share money between alts?

Not without trusting a third party.

This is something they had in EQ which they obviously decided not to have in EQ2. I have no idea what logic they applied to make the change.

What you can do is get your two characters to agree between themselves who is going to be the main seller and they also become the main buyer.

This isn't easy in EQ2 since you cannot look at a piece of gear and see if your alt can wear it. Nor can you run a market search for anything but the current character. It means finding something with one character and then logging to the banker to go and buy it. It makes impulse buying harder but mostly you will be deciding what you want to buy and then watching the market for it so the problem is not as bad as it looks.

This probably belongs in the "wow vs eq thread" lol. Sony prevents you from sharing your hard earned money with your other characters. Wow encourages it and even lets you transfer no drop quest rewards between characters.

Another strike against soe for trying to make us play THEIR way =\
