I have read the system requirements at everquest2.com, but I learned a long time ago you can't always trust what they tell you will work. Anyways my PC has the following specs:
AMD Athlon 1.7gigahertz
768 ram ddr2700
geforce 3 ti 200 (128 ram) video card
ata 100 speed HD (if that really matters)
Will it be fast enough to run this game at any type of playable speed? I have seen people posting talking about useing ATI cards, but I have no idea how powerful these cards are compared to the Nvidia cards.

512 DDr Ram
Nvidia 128 Graphics card
on a 56k Modem
In all combat zones i have little or no lag even in groups, in certain good side city zones the lag is very bad if you are playing peak hours but in the dead times it's no too bad.
If you are playing good side i recommend Castleview hieghts as a base of opperations for some reason i never lag there.
The gnome starting zone is very laggy o the other hand but that doesn't bother me since i hate the stunty f*ckers!

Everyone gets some lag with 512 ram if you want to get rid of it have to upgrade to 1 gig other then that you should have no problems.
