I chose craftsman at level 9 not knowing it didnt' include jewelery which is what I most enjoy making so far. Please does anyone know what I can do to change to Scholar, I hope Iam not stuck!!!! Thanks ahead of time for your help and advice, Jacqueline the disappointed wood elf :(
Unfortunately once you pick, you can't change it. The only thing you can do is start over --- /cringe.

Yes, the good news is at this point you dont lose much.
Sell anything you dont want on the character, put the rest in the Shared Bank. Create your new character and go to town.
Tradeskills once picked are locked for that character and can not be changed, same goes for class choices.

I have another character I started out with in December. A kerra sorcerer level 17 with a crafting level of about 4 or 5. I could use her for the scholar and trade off when I get bored. I have just fell in love with my elf character and love the scouting/predator business! :)
That might be a good compromise in the long run, since I don't feel ready to start over again. I sure appreciate the posts though, made me think a bit about what to do. Jacqueline

Be philosophical about it. You are going to need the services of other tradeskillers whatever you do. You will probably end up taking all your alts into one skill or another
