I've looked everywhere online, including here and can't find the details for this quest at all. It's bad enough to deal with the Betrayal quest, but not knowing how difficult the subclass quest is another thing to worry about.

I'm looking for this quest too. I believe it starts with the emissary upstairs in the tavern in EFP (Emissary Mitsya at the Seafarer's Roost).

After the server reset, I'm going to try and talk to her. Since I'm 18 now, if she's the right person, she should give me the quest.

Yes starts with the Rat in the Seafarers Roost.
Is sending me to kill orc runners for a pouch,

Further details to come..

Ok finished the orc runner easy enough, go SW as emmisary says.
Now I hav to be a Dervish Cutthroat. Go figure and meet with Dranok Bileblood whereever he is , I assume up with the dervs.

More to come...

Ok next step... Find Dranok Bileblood. easy enough . the quest log tells you where he is.
Now he takes you to an instance to assassinate a Captain Rotfist.
Easy enough Blue solo to lev 19.
Sneak from zone in JIC and sneak up to him and kill him. then go back to Bileblood for port out.
Head to Emissary for next part.

the quest wasn't all that difficult at 18th level.. just steer clear of everything in the orc encampment instance...

watch the guard patrol pattern (it's pretty wide so there shouldn't be any issues if you're 1/2-way cautious)

stealth up.. kill guy on the roof (white to 18th level.. not a problem with a solid shadow-blade strike from behind)

and just go back out the way you came in..

the dagger you're given for completion of the class progression quest is not use-able til 19th level as of last week. (unless they change it in a patch)

Ok guys, I just finished this quest the other day, so Ill give you some detailed info. The quest begins with Emmissary Mitsya who is upstairs of the Seafarers Roost (Tavern/Inn) in East Freeport. Talking to her will give you your quest, and now your first objective is to take out an orc runner in the Commonlands.

If you have ever killed orc lumberjacks, the runners are usually right behind (south) of them. If not, just run southwest from the zone in from West Freeport, and stay on the east side of the map, you should find them. Easy solo to 18, not a problem at all, few second fight. Take the note you find back to Mitsya, and she will tell you that is talks about an alliance being formed between the Orcs and the Dervs. Next objective, find Dranok Bileblood.

This one took me forever, it says where to find him, but its pretty vague. Just go back to where you found the orc runner, and run west along the wall. You will come to several canyons, after you are on the west side of Commonlands, and the biggest one is the one you want. Walk into the canyon and take a left, walk a little bit more, and presto, there spawns Dranok. Talk to him and he will try to trick you, but being a crafty Predetor you talk your way out of it. He will send you and ONLY YOU into an instanced zone. This is the final part.

Once you zone in, talk to Dranok and he will tell you to kill Capt. Rotfist. Run right against the wall, you can swim thru the middle of the lake, but if you are 18 there are some fish in there that will aggro you and follow you up onto land, pretty annoying, and will make for more downtime. Run along the wall to the building on the left after the lake, you can see Rotfist on top. There are two orcs on the ground, on is a guard that patrols by, he takes a long walk, so no worries here, just watch him. The other was yellow to me at 18, but as he is a "Drowsy Guard" you can sneak past him unlike all the others, just put on sneak and hunt and you will be fine. Into the building you go, up the stairs, and sneak up behind Rotfist, a well placed Shadow Blade and good use of your HO's makes for an easy fight, white to lvl 18. Jump off the back of the building making sure that the patrolling guard isnt walking by, back the way you came, talk to Dranok and he will port you out. Back to Mitsya to receive your reward.

OK.

I know this is an old post and old news, but I wasnt playing in Febuary, sorry.

I just wanted to know, is this it. I did this quest at lvl 18 so am I now an Assassin?

Im just curious as to whether there are quests at 20 to become a full fledged Assassin.

Thanks,

Sslither

No doing the quest early just gets you "pre-qualified" for the subclass. You won't really be that till you ding 20... at that point there is nothing else you need to do.
