This happened to me with buying a brand new Everquest Online Adventures game. Contacted SoE and all they said was return it and get a new one cuz that one is used and they cant do a thing about it. so thats your best bet just return it for another one and MAKE SURE YOU EXPLAIN that the game key DOES not work otherwise they will not take it back opened.

yeah they said the same. game.net will take it back. but they have no more in stock so i've ordered it from somewhere else. Seems like i'll never get started!
