Important question about server titles..Follow

Alright, here's the story.

When I first bought Everquest 2, I made my first character. A mage, sort of on a whim. I played with him for a good while, just to see what the class was like. After a while, not sure exactly when it happened, I recieved the /claim message to claim my EQ1 heritage items (I have a station pass so I can play EQ1 occasionally).

I claimed my items and server title, and later decided that the mage was not for me. I have a new character now, a paladin, that I consider my main and do not plan on giving up on anytime soon.

I was curious if the title is in any way transferrable? (I understand that the items, paintings, statue etc. cannot come with every new created character, as there would be a ton of them floating around.)

But if I delete my mage, will I be able to /claim the server title with another character? Is it something I should think about petitioning for? Just looking for some advice before I took the chance and deleted my summoner. It would be a shame to realize I wasted my old server title on a character I don't plan on using because I wasn't really sure what I was getting into.
