Weapon HandlingFollow

Hey Peeps,
Just trying to get a feel for what weapons other War Types are using. This is what I am using right now Willow Wood Hunting Blade x2.
I am looking for some feed back on Dual Wield weapons, 1h weapons, 2h weapons, shields.
I have found that if you can get dual weapons you can riase your weapon skill quickly. (Blunt, Piercing, slash)
I have max'd out my Piercing and Blunt every level by using Dualies. Is the wrong thing to do ?
Should I be working on my 2h weapons first ?
Should I be using a shield with a 1h weapon ?

Any feed back would be great.

I use Shadowblade of Zeal, and Aegis of the Guardian
