crafting problemsFollow

Ive noticed that my toon (lvl 10 scholar) has issues creating "pristine" level items...i always end up with items in the normal-shaped category unless its a "very easy" recipe. Is there anyway to better this? or is it a matter of just gaining experience cause im having difficulty fullfilling my workshop order....?

At level 10 you got 3 new buffs in each of your chosen Knowledges. These can be used to add Durability at the cost of power or progress. They make an enormous difference to making Pristine items.
