has anyone else experienced black flashes in background or on scenery? does anyone know how to fix them? it only happens when i look some directrions and sometimes its a lot of black but sometimes its only the edges of like trails or roads...
other then this my computer runs great so i'm kinda stumped.. plz help

I have had this problem as well. First it was when the game was released but after a few patches it stopped on my system. However it happened to me again the other night after this most recent patch.
So I would suggest making sure you have all your most recent vid drivers. Trying a reboot if things are real bad. Other than that my gut says its a Sony issue. The most recent time this happened I was running along a path which disappeared along with the back ground. I could however see the bushes lining the path and turning a bit to the side made the path return.
