hi most likly you will have to pay. the good news unlike a lot of other mmorpg games, sony has put out a game card that you can buy i think 3 months worth of game time.

US $12.95 for eq 2 i think. $38.85 for the 3 month card i guess US
i have station pass. as i still have eq 1 accounts, plus i paid for the whole year, makes it easier. if you know you will play that long. but need credit card for that.
i hope they have game cards for you in the UK. and since EQ 1 has been there awhile they should.

The card is $45 for three months. This is still a huge savings if you can find someone on this side of the pond to get it for you. I have a guildmate from the UK that I buy cards for and he sends me the money. They are hard to find there and much more expensive from what he says, and they have a 17.5% VAT. Since all you need is the number off the back of the card, have a friend in the US pick you up one and email you the number, use paypal to pay them back... Paypal will do the currency conversion. At rough exchange rates currently 26 pounds about covers the cost of a three month card, local sales tax and paypal's service fee.
