Is this a bug??? :: Free Realms

My crafting skill is currently at Artisan 9. I tried to make myself some Apprentice III scripts(which they all appear to be VERY EASY on my recipe list). When I finally made the items they all turned out to be Apprentice II only. Is this a bug?? What am I missing?

not entirely sure Ztock. My partner made some apprentice IIIs for my crusader a while back..and she was disappointed because she said they listed as Apprentice II. She traded them to me..and i scribed them..and the message that flashed on the screen said i had just gotten apprentice III even though the picture of the spell when examined said apprentice II. I later had the opportunity to try and make some apprentice IIIs for my daughter's rogue and i didnt succeed in making any further then the 2nd bar on the create window....and it said apprentice II for the ones i tried. Havent given them to her yet...but i wouldnt be surprised that when she scribes them they will say apprentice III. Still think its some kind of bug...but it may be that unless you reach pristine lvl on the create window it says apprentice II. I know this doesnt really help, but has been my observations.

I am not sure what type of "scripts" you are talking about. I make spells on my sage and fighter abilities on my alchemist. I use pristine ink and if I completely succeed (meaning through the fourth line), it is an App IV spell or ability. If you only succeed through lines 1 or 2 it is App II, if you succeed through line 3 it is App III. If you use crude or shaped ink you can only succeed to App II> If you use regular ink, you can succeed to App III but not App IV. Only pristine ink will give you APP IV. Hope that helps.

I heard weeks ago that some runes were bugged and only listed as app 2 but loaded as app 3. Kinda hard to sell tho.

But others may be right = if they are finished as "crude" maybe now they downgrade to app 2 - just as pristines upgrade to app 4. SOrry, I'm not sure. GL

Evilgnomes is correct.

If you get a Crude/Shaped on a App III you get App II... (BLEH)

If you Pristine it then you get App IV.
