There is a fantasy book out there that has a main character named Drizz't D'Orden (or something like that). He is a dark elf ranger, or something, and TONS of people have a take off on his name. I've seen:

Drizzt
Drzzt
Drizzit

etc.

Drizzt Do'Urden, I believe...he's a character in the Forgotten Realms Series (well, in some of their books), and yes, he's a dark elf ranger, one of the only good-aligned dark elves in existence.

Forgotten Realms series is freakin awesome. I discovered this series about a year and a half ago, and I love it. I have played EQ for such a long time and I had been waiting to find books that were something along that line. If you ever want to get into them, read The Dark Elf trilogy first to find out about Drizzt's betrayl of his home city and his meeting of Bruenor, then read the Icewind Dale trilogy, Legacy of the Drow, Paths of Darkness, and finally the Hunters Blades trilogy respectively. They are fantastic books, hope you enjoy!
