Is there a way to change your trade class?
I picked outfitter and one of my roomates picked Scolar and my other roomate picked outfitter by accident. So I'm wondering if there is a way I can switch from outfitter to Craftman?

Nope.
Now, I do have hope. When they added the secondary tradeskills they allowed for changing the secondary. Perhaps if they ever remove the class/subclass structure in Tradeskills they'd add such a feature.

They have now added a way for you to change your TS in case you still have intentions and have went away from the game.

one of the recent updates says you can change you trad skill profession.. or start over.. why you'd just want to start over is beyond me.. the update says "Not happy with your tradeskill profession? Consult a tradeskill career counselor in Neriak, Kelethin, Qeynos Ironforge Exchange, Freeport Coalition of Tradesfolke or Haven about the possibility of starting over"
If I recall Calthine posted a message stating that they put the swtching on hold since there was a bug in it. I do not know if this is still valid, but it will be reinstated later on.

It was reinstated a couple of weeks ago :)
