PC Requirements for EQIIFollow

i really can`t say for sure what you need but here is my experience i built an all new machine just for eq2 i have a p4 3.4 gig processor 1 gig ddr 400meg ram a 80 gig 7200 rpm hard drive a sound blaster live eax sound card and an nvidia geforce 6800 256 meg graphics card and i have choppy game play if i up anything on my graphics past the default setting which even with my set up default has most effects turned off and only medium quality settings even though it has very low low medium high very high and maximum settings i would have thought with all the money i spent i could at least have all the effects and high graphic quality maybe not maximum but at least high so i know the game was designed for a 512 meg card and 2 meg ram in an ideal world but i cant really afford to buy 2 geforce 6800 to run in a raid config is anyone else having these problems ?all that happens is when i up my graphics to high and turn on all shadows lights particle effects etc it gets choppy and laggy even though i have a 100 meg pipeline i just had installed too ..all this so i wouldnt have the lag and choppiness i had in eq 1 and yet hear i am still laggy and choppy unless i play the game with blinders on because even thought i about cant move when i do this i can set everything to max and when you do it looks like a different game alltogether so much detail and beauty cant wait to see it all in about a year or 2 when you can actually get 512 meg cards oh wait by then they will do a luclin type expansion and upgrade graphics to need a 1024 meg card to see eveything lol
