Maybe I missed it...is there a way you can search by level required so that I can , for example, find only weapons that will suit my current level?

-----

i'll be adding that to the advanced item search so you'll be able to search by "required" skill

Glad you enjoyed it. I added a recipes section last night that you can search by name. Also added a lot more info to the recipes pages. Crafting device, skill name, level of recipe. I'm working on an advanced recipe search as well as npc and refining the advanced item search with more options

the recipe bit is nice to have, and i'm sure quite accurate, but hard to read for some reason... it doesnt flow or something. i use eq2craft.computersims.com and it's way easier to read. you might take a look :).

perhaps messing about with the colors, as in the bars and such, would help. my eyes responded the same way when viewing the quests.

in all, looks like good info :).

hmm... i'll think about what i can do. I have a hard time figuring out what is what on the site you linked... things stand out a lot better on mine.... The just shove too much info into the same page. we could do the same. instead i went with linking to the appropriate item, which in turn you could view the recipe for that subcomponent as well.

i'll have to think about what makes the other easier on me... as it is... i'm needing to not surf at work for a while, so bear with me :). will try to post on your boards if a light comes on in my dim attic of a mind :).

Bah, I'm an old fan of Alla's from way back. It's one thing to come in here and say you have a new competing site, but it's another to go this far - it's really rude and disrespectful to Alla imo. I'm stayin' here. Smiley: waycool

but it's another to go this far

This far... as in.. what exactly? Discussing with the people interested about it? My god, i'm sorry i thought this was a discussion forum. my bad.

I'm adding detailed "tool tips" for just about every link on the site. I just finished the item reward links on the quest details pages, let me know if you find any strange bugs with these. I'll be slowly adding them into every aspect of the site, "mouseovers that show npc locations, etc"

The "collector" program is available for public download now, so if you were one of the folks interested in building the db, i've posted instructions and the download link on the right sidebar.

have fun guys!
