Okay, find a broker npc. There is one in Q Harbor - there is one in each tradeskill instance.

Type in "Tell" or part of the name of hte spell u want. Do Find or Searh - I forget what the button says.

U get a list of spells for sale by other players. Late afternoon-night is best - that's when most people are selling - better prices.

U are looking for Tellurian ___ (make sure u have the exact name of hte spell - I forget what it is) - ADEPT 1. The adept 1 designation will get u a spider. Weeks ago I saw one for sale for like 20s and bought it for the other Gnome of EvilGnomes. And I haven't seen one under 90 silver since. Sorry.

If u haven't upgraded at all, u can buy an Apprentice 2 upgrade from a Scribe in town. Players make App 3 adn 4 upgrades. Not sure if the app 4 is a beetle or spider - it's made when an artisan makes a "pristine" combime doing an app 3 recipe.

Adept 1 spells drop at random in chests. U can hunt for one... but its a very rare drop. Sorry it's so pricey. If you only have, say 49 silver - try going to a big zone, like Ant or Common, and just /ooc for someone to sell u one for that. If you are nice, maybe someone will. Also check the black market broker. In q he's in harbor, swim in the canal in the SW til u see a hole in the wall, go in there. In fp he's in e fp out on the island. It's called a Fence. This lets u buy from players of opposite alignment. GL

Oh, Adept 3 pets exist, made by players w/ uber rare ingredient (silver or coral for tier two). If u have a silver or coral (mined from sandwashed rock) - u could try to find an artisan and arrange for them to make u an Adept 3. Make sure u trust them. Silver cluster on my server selling for 17 gold and up. Master lvl 1 also exist but is insanely rare. Drops very ver very rarely. Expect to pay 40 gold and up, if u can even find one.

By grp pet do you mean it does better damage but has light HPs?

My summoner is on a server where it's hard to even get an app3 upgrades. Adepts and Masts over lvl 20 are ... depressingly rare. That was why I was interested in the lvl 20 spec training pet - it's supposed to be adept 2 and ... well, would you choose differently if you were on a massively unpopulated server and couldn't count on getting a pet upgrade? Thx. (i'm 16, creeping to 20).
