I can't believe Sony would bring down the servers on a Friday night. They claim a "brief" downtime? Yeah right. I've seen this before with EQ1 and a couple of weeks ago with EQ2 when it was down for a day or so. Brief downtime 9 hours later!!! I JUST WANNA PLAY!!!!!!

Too much downtown for this POS. Friggin bring down the server every friggin day at 10am is not enough?? WTF... and now what? unexpected down time too?? + scheduled maintenance?? Friggin bullsh1t.

It least for you the daily downtime is at 10am. A time when you should be working/schooling or sleeping on weekend. But for me, who normaly sleep at about 2am. The daily downtime is at 11pm, which is the best time for long hour gaming.

Are they usually many downtimes on EQ2? And when there are, what are the reasons?

I did not experience any unscheduled downtime, but I only played from 7/8pm to 11pm (GMT+8).

Anyone know which servers downtime is at around 4am to 10am (GMT+8) so that I can play longer on weekend nights. Still new so I can affort to start anew.

Oh and to answer the above question. Yes there is a usual downtime with everquest.. both of them. They have to do server maintenance every day. Normall it happens at like.. 5 am. But for some reason they're doing it at 9 am. Blah.

Actually schedulled downtime is 7AM PST, which equates to 10AM est

I'm actually adapting to the daily downtime well. It usually doesn't last too long so I'm cool with it. I just wish there was some special in game sound for system wide messages... sometimes I miss them.
