D3DERR_INVALIDCALL or NOTAVAILABLEFollow

Wiped hard drive and when reloaded got this D3D error I have a 9500/9700 ATI RADEON Pro..........any suggestions. I have DIRECTX9.0a installed.

I'm not familiar with that error, but I think you have to have DX9.0c installed. Maybe try upgrading?

D3DERR_INVALIDCALL-Means that EQ2 called a DirectX function but gave it invalid parameters.
D3DERR_NOTFOUND-This device does not support the queried technique.

The system requirements are DirectX 9.0c or higher.

I agree with Nadenu it is probably because you need the latest version of DirectX
